Five point someone!

Tagged ONCE again - this time by Richa. Her guidelines were extremely vague - write ten things about yourself that no one knows! After much debate, she agreed to shrink it to five. My deepest secrets revealed:

As a kid, I wanted to be a masseur. I used to practise massage therapy on my father for pocket money. Apparently, I was good at it.

I used to practise palmistry as a hobby in school. I learnt palmistry from a couple of old books that belonged to my maternal grandfather.

I never complain about food and I don't waste food - my mom's influence!

When I feel low, I sing to myself. I also go to eat out alone to lift my mood.

I am scared of heights. It took me years to convince myself to get on a giant wheel.

I LOVE the first point!!!
And yes, shocked too!

I got such pocket money from my Dad by making tea.

Palmistry is one of the most interesting things. Jan mein apni knowledge bhi brush up kar ke aana.

Singing is good. :)

Heights? I'm scared too. Yes, i know what sort of an achievement a giant wheel is.

Great list!

It's ME FIRST too!!!!! :D

Interesting...What is strangest was your fear of heights....

How do you manage mountain climbing?

Even I used to do that to my dad...but for extra reward....pocket money was not to be earned.

Let me see...how it happens to me.

what about chicks? no mention of them anywhere...

BASTM - Now you must get others to do this. Out of all the tags this was the toughest - I had to think!

Kanu - Technically, I have never done mountain climbing. I have done rappelling (climbing down rock face) from a decent height (120 ft). Also cliff jumped at Rishikesh to the river (25 ft). That is overcoming fear, I guess.

Prashant - Chicks? Marwaega!

Sochna kabhi kabhi achha hota hai.

What's this thing about chicks?

Are we referring to another humongous fear or deep dark secrets surrounding the chicks....I am curious...Very Curios

I dont like the title. The book is a Rupa publication after all. Maybe a "Five Point Subhadip" or something?

It is interesting how you battled your fear of heights. Just wondering...should I keep a pet snake then to overcome my fear of them?

BASTM - Chicks? Kentucky Fried Chicks!

Kanu - Sorry to disappoint you; no fear of chicks (not even during bird flu scare).

Woodie - You may start by visiting the zoo. You may also want to come back to India - the land of snake charmers and elephants.

Chitrangada - Five points kaafi hai. Baaki biography mein bhi to kuchh hona chahiye na?

Aseem - You forgot the pocket money part?

Eating out alone is the best thing to do. Specially is it's pasta followed by coffee.

Rohit - Pasta and coffee sounds good. Even with others.

Deeps - I am scared of relative height, I guess. That reminds me... what was the official height of Taglangla and Changla again? Which one is higher?
