Brushing up on my Hindu Mythology

Reading all the headlines and breaking news about what happened in Mangalore recently, a thought hit me: Shri Ram's Sena (army) during the attack on Ravana / Lanka was comprised, almost exclusively, of monkeys. Wasn't it?

They were not harmless, but their powers were channelized well.

That’s an interesting observation and I liked your comment on channelizing energy. I think we, as a nation, should channelize our energy. In order to progress we need to shed our conservativeness and develop some tolerance. Also is the ‘culture’ of our country so weak so as to be threatened by some people (girls) dancing/smoking/drinking/kissing? And whatever happened to free will? It would be interesting to see what would happen if we all suspended our religion, culture and prejudices just for a day - would the world come to an end then?

@Kanchan
"if we all suspended ... for a day" - the world would be such a better place that day.
